Ceiling Fan Top Cover

Manufacturing Process
From alloy to finished component
SAPL's integrated process means the same facility that casts your component also machines it, coats it, and inspects it — under a single quality system with complete traceability from alloy heat number to dispatch.
For each product programme, SAPL prepares a control plan that defines the inspection method, frequency, and acceptance criterion for every critical characteristic on the drawing. This plan is agreed with the customer before production begins and does not change without a formal revision.
HPDC or GDC
5 HPDC machines, 180T–450T. Gravity casting for heavier, thicker sections.
Trimming & Deburring
Flash and gate removal. In-process visual inspection on all castings.
CNC & VMC Machining
Precision bores, threads, grooves, and mating faces to drawing tolerance.
Surface Treatment
Powder coat, anodise, or chromate — matched to the operating environment.
Alloy Selection
Aluminium alloys in production
SAPL currently produces in four aluminium alloys. Selection depends on the process, strength requirement, machinability, and surface treatment specified.
Primary alloy for most consumer, HVAC, and industrial components. Excellent die-filling, consistent dimensions, good powder coat adhesion.
Higher strength than ADC12. Selected for pump housings and automotive components where fatigue resistance and pressure integrity are critical.
High silicon, good fluidity. Used for tractor pulleys, covers, and components where section thickness and machinability are priorities.
Al-Si7Mg alloy. Selected for medical and precision applications requiring excellent anodising response and fine machined surface finish.
