Die Tool Maintenance Engineer – PDC & GDC
Job Objective:-
Responsible for planning, executing & improving die tool maintenance activity in the die-casting plant & related documentation.
Key Role & Responsibilities:-
- Responsible for die tool maintenance activity.
- Responsible for daily die tool preventive maintenance as per plan.
- Maintaining tooling-related documentation as per IATF & ISO – tool life history, tool maintenance record, preventive maintenance record, consumables record.
- Responsible for quick and timely tool corrections for customer or quality assurance team complaints.
- Responsible for reducing rejections due to tooling-related issues.
- Responsible for production and tool maintenance room 5S.
Qualification & Experience Required:-
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Die Tool Maintenance(GDC & PDC Tools).
- Experience handling aluminium automotive and non-automotive die-casting components die tools, and problem-solving.
- Experience with die tool maintenance for tooling ranging from 150 to 650 tons.
- Independently carry out entire die tool maintenance activities.
- Resolving ongoing issues related to the tool.
