Position Overview:
As a Powder Coating Production Engineer at SAPL, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficiency, quality, and safety of our powder coating production processes. Key Responsibilities:
1. Production Planning and Scheduling:
– Develop comprehensive production plans and schedules to meet customer orders and delivery timelines.
– Collaborate closely with the production team to coordinate workflow and resource allocation.
– Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as necessary to optimize efficiency and meet targets.
2. Process Optimization:
– Conduct thorough analysis of powder coating processes to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
– Implement innovative solutions to enhance process efficiency, reduce waste, and minimize downtime.
– Evaluate equipment performance and recommend upgrades or modifications to enhance productivity.
3. Quality Control Management:
– Establish robust quality control procedures to ensure the consistency and integrity of powder coating finishes.
– Conduct regular inspections and tests to verify compliance with specifications and industry standards.
– Investigate quality issues and implement corrective actions to address root causes and prevent recurrence.
4. Equipment Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
– Oversee the maintenance and calibration of powder coating equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance.
– Respond promptly to equipment malfunctions or breakdowns, coordinating repairs and minimizing production disruptions.
– Ensure adherence to safety protocols and procedures during equipment operation and maintenance activities.
5. Team Leadership and Training:

Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, or a related field.
– Proven experience (3-5 years) in powder coating production or process engineering roles, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
– Strong knowledge of powder coating processes, equipment, and materials.
– Demonstrated expertise in process optimization, problem-solving, and continuous improvement methodologies.
