Aluminium Alloy Explorer
& Comparison Tool

Look up chemical composition, mechanical, thermal, and electrical properties for the HPDC and GDC aluminium alloys SAPL casts, plus other widely used global reference alloys (JIS H5302, ASTM B85, BS 1490, BS EN 1706) — or compare two alloys side by side to decide which fits your component.

Typical Applications

Consumer appliance housings, ceiling fan covers, motor bodies, and general-purpose HPDC components where surface finish and dimensional consistency matter most.

SAPL Note

SAPL's default HPDC alloy — run across all five HPDC machines (180T–450T). Not recommended for T6 heat treatment due to as-cast porosity.

Values shown are typical reference figures compiled from standard specifications (JIS H5302, ASTM B85, BS 1490, BS EN 1706) and SAPL production experience. Actual properties vary with section thickness, process control, and heat treatment. For application-critical specifications, request a material test certificate with your quotation.
