Quality Assurance
Quality isn't a department.
It's the process.
Our quality system runs from raw material receipt to final dispatch — with inspection at every stage, automated process monitoring, and complete traceability on every batch. ISO 9001:2015 certified. IATF 16949 expected September 2026.

Approach
Six areas of quality control
Every component that leaves our facility has passed through a structured quality gate at each production stage — not just a final inspection.
Incoming Material Control
Every aluminium ingot and alloy batch is verified by OES (Optical Emission Spectrometry) on receipt. No material enters production without a recorded chemical composition result against specification.
In-Process Inspection
First-off and in-process inspections run at every production stage. Process parameters — shot speed, pressure, die temperature, cycle time — are logged automatically and reviewed against control limits.
Final Dimensional Verification
CMM inspection covers all GD&T-critical features. Precision gauging, plug gauges, and thread gauges verify functional dimensions on every batch before dispatch.
Surface & Coating Inspection
100% Dry Film Thickness (DFT) inspection on every powder-coated component. Cross-cut adhesion testing (ISO 2409) and visual inspection for surface defects on every coating batch.
Internal Defect Screening
X-ray (radiographic) inspection is available for components with strict internal integrity requirements. Porosity, shrinkage, and cold shut defects identified before machining begins.
Traceability & Documentation
Each production batch is traceable from raw material heat to finished component. Inspection records, process logs, and material certificates are retained and available on customer request.
Inspection Flow
End-to-end quality checkpoints
Material Incoming
OES spectrometry — alloy verified against spec before release to production
Die Casting
First-off inspection, parameter monitoring, shot log review
Fettling & Trimming
Flash, gate, and runner removal; visual inspection for casting defects
X-Ray Inspection
Internal defect screening (when specified); reject quarantine and disposition
CNC / VMC Machining
First-off CMM verification; in-process gauge checks; final dimensional release
Powder Coating
5-tank pre-treatment; 100% DFT check; cross-cut adhesion test
Final Inspection
Full dimensional, visual, and functional check before dispatch; CoC issued
Dispatch
Batch-level traceability maintained; records retained for 7 years
Laboratory
Inspection equipment
Our quality laboratory is equipped for incoming material verification, dimensional inspection, internal defect screening, and surface quality assessment.
Documentation
Quality records available on request
We provide inspection reports, material certificates (CoC), and process records with every shipment. Full PPAP documentation is available for automotive programmes. Contact us to discuss your specific quality documentation requirements.
