HVAC & Air Movement
Aluminium is the material of choice for HVAC and air movement components. Its low density reduces rotating assembly mass, its thermal conductivity aids heat dissipation in motor housings, and its corrosion resistance — particularly after powder coating — is required for outdoor fan units exposed to humidity, UV, and airborne contaminants.
SAPL produces a broad range of HVAC castings in ADC12 and A380 alloys via HPDC. ADC12 is the standard choice for general housings and covers; A380 is specified where thinner wall sections, better corrosion resistance, or greater dimensional consistency are needed. All outdoor-exposed components are powder coated in-house using our 5-tank nano-ceramic pre-treatment line.

Powder coating batch consistency
Colour consistency across large production batches matters for assembly aesthetics. Our 5-tank pre-treatment and controlled cure parameters maintain consistent film build and colour across batches.
Corrosion performance for outdoor units
Outdoor fan units require coating adhesion and corrosion resistance for 10+ year field life. Our nano-ceramic pre-treatment passes ISO 2409 cross-cut adhesion and neutral salt spray to 500+ hours.
